Finding America: Grand Valley Piano Chamber Series

The Grand Valley Piano Chamber Series (GVPCS) is partnering with the Holland Area Arts Council to presents a piano chamber music concert on Saturday, 3/14, 7pm. This season, GVPCS celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with chamber music works by composers who made the United States their new home. This concluding program features Rebecca Clarke's Sonata for Viola and Piano, Paul Hindemith's Sonata for Viola and PIano, Op. 11 No.4, and Erno Dohnanyi's Piano Quartet in F-sharp minor (1891). Pianist Sookkyung Cho, Artistic Director of GVPCS, will be joined by violinist Kimia Ghaderi (Artistic Director of Chamber Music Festival of Saugatuck and Assistant Principal Second Violin of Grand Rapids Symphony), David Lau (violist of Gewandhaus Orchestra in Leipzig, Germany), and Pablo Mahave-Veglia (cello professor at Grand Valley State University). For more information, please visit www.gvpcs.org.
