Get ready to embark on a delectable journey through downtown Holland! Our Community Cookie Crawl is here. On Saturday, December 6th, from 10 AM to 1 PM, join us for a delightful afternoon of cookie tasting and exploring local businesses.

 How it Works:

1. Pick Up Your Passport: Start your adventure by picking up your special cookie box, map, and a warm cup of Stovetop Roasters coffee at the main library.

2. Embark on a Sweet Quest: Follow your map to visit participating businesses, each offering a unique treat.

3. Explore and Enjoy: While you indulge in these sweet delights, take the opportunity to discover the charming shops and galleries downtown Holland has to offer.

Open Mic Night - Poets • Lyricist • Acoustic • Storytellers

Discover the art of writing a Spoken word poem inspired by visual art within the Arts Council, and be brave enough to get on the mic and share your craft.

In this session, we’ll use paintings and images as sparks for creativity while learning simple rhyme schemes to bring rhythm and flow to your writing. Practice the skills of performing  “Spoken Word” by gaining skills and tricks when getting on the microphone. 

This workshop is open to all levels, whether you’re new to poetry or a seasoned writer. All workshop attendees are invited to an Open Mic afterwards.

Rod and Toby bring together a wonderful blend of songs, styles and instruments to deliver a memorable evening of traditional Celtic and Irish jigs and reels and contemporary folk and rock, all in creative original arrangements. With various combinations of guitars, ukulele, bouzouki and Irish whistles there’s always something interesting and entertaining.  Please join us for an evening of sharing the gift of music that feeds the heart and souths the soul (and if you have any Irish in you you’ll be tapping your toes).

Come explore 200 original 6”X6” artworks created by artists of all ages and styles of painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, and more. Each piece is $40, with 100% of sales supporting the Arts Council. It’s an affordable way to start or grow your art collection while directly supporting the arts and artists in our community. Snag your favorite 6x6 before it’s gone!
