Conversations in Paper and Clay exhibition opens January 23rd, with a reception on Thursday, January 30th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Conversations in Paper and Clay exhibition showcases the creative bond between Gemma Fletcher and Catherine Green, who met in the ceramics studio in 2022. Catherine, a retired photographer turned ceramic artist, explores porcelain’s translucency, while Gemma’s colorful, joyful work celebrates everyday moments using paint, print, and stitch. They quickly discovered a shared love of form, texture and color and this exhibition highlights the many conversations they have questioning their chosen media of ceramics and paper.
