STRING TUNE-UP!
Grade level: 8-12 grades with at least three years of private study and/or school participation Save the dates of June 9-12, 2008 for this local day camp held at Holland Area Arts Council. It will provide a daily private lesson in master class style and an ensemble class for all students. Taught by Martha Walvoord and Jennifer Walvoord, both with a DMA from University of Michigan in violin performance, this summer camp offers a local, lower cost alternative to improve skills on the violin in a positive environment ending with an ice-cream party and concert for parents and friends. Registrations for the limited enrollment will be accepted at Holland Area Arts Council or by calling the Holland Symphony offi ce at 616-494-0256. Full payment must accompany registration. Applications will be available on the Holland Symphony Orchestra website at www.hollandsymphony.org and at the Holland Area Arts Council reception desk.
