Okay, you’ve been working with your camera and want to learn some more
about its deep dark secrets. This intermediate class is designed to help you
get the most out of your digital SLR, or any digital camera that allows you
to manually make changes to your F-Stop and shutter speeds. We will help you

Belly Dance has intrigued and fascinated people since the dawn of time. Whatever

West Coast Swing originated in the dancehalls of San Diego as far back as
1938.
Modern WCS can be danced with upright posture and be smooth and warm, or be
a funky, hot partnered-jazz dance. Rhythm and Blues is often used as standard

JAM!
If you’re all about the rhythm…we’re all
about having you join us. Whether your instrument is a conga drum or a tap
shoe, come and make some music with us! JAM is an event open to musicians,
tap dancers and community members who are interested in learning about, creating
and listening to rhythm. Holland is shouldering up with cities like Berlin,
Chicago, London, New York and Vienna to host a series of Tap/Rhythm Jams;
a meeting of hands and feet as drummers and tap dancers work together to work
the groove. The JAM is free, so come play, dance or just take in the music
for as much time as you wish! You are welcome to enjoy part or all of JAM!
No need to pre-register, just come on down to the Arts Council from 6-8 PM
on the third Fridays of September, October and November!
Rosanne Barton-DeVries from the Hope College dance department and Co-Director
of IDT (InSync Dance Theatre) will lead the tap work. Andrew Snyder, Program
